Between the shadows

Between the shadows is my adaptation of the colourful Rainey series.

I wanted to bring the series to another level capturing the streets during the wetter days but in Monochrome.

This particular picture brings together a striking but quiet rain soaked street view, the piece comes to life through soft monochrome tones, shimmering reflections and figure sheltering under their umbrellas.

This atmospheric piece from my Rainey series captures a fleeting moment of companionship amid the rain.

This is done in Oils on a 40 x 40 cm canvas.
